"If You Can Dream IT, You Can Achieve IT"

“The richest place in the world is the Graveyard.... because in the graveyard we’ll find inventions that we were never ever exposed to. Ideas, dreams that never became a reality, hopes and aspirations that were never  acted upon.”
                                          - Les Brown

How often do you come across people who get up every day, get ready and go to jobs they don’t like, compromise with their passions and dreams to live a mediocre life and be satisfied? Do you want a life, spending your time to fulfill some other person’s dreams and giving up your own?

In the words of the Global Leadership Guru Robin Sharma: “The seduction of safety is often more dangerous than the perception of uncertainty,” it can be easily understood that you can very easily fail at doing something that you don’t like so you might as well take a chance on doing what you love. Follow your heart; it knows what’s best for you. Learn from the life of successful people, what’s common with all of them is that they had a vision, they had a dream.

But having a dream, an idea is a waste in the garbage until you take action; you take that chance and make that sacrifice that’s holding you back from living the life you’ve always wanted. Remember, the world that we live in was created by people no smarter than you! The only difference is that they dared to take the road less travelled, and on their way, they constructed a new path for others to follow.

Mahatma Gandhi, he dreamt of India’s freedom, he started alone but along his struggle was joined by hundreds and thousands of people who finally made his dream of an independent India come true. The world’s most celebrated footballer, Lionel Messi used to serve tea in a shop in order to support his football training just because his dream and love for the game was his motivation to go through all initial struggles. Likewise, Shah Rukh Khan (King Khan) just had a ten rupee note when he came to Mumbai with a dream of becoming an actor before he conquered the nation with his phenomenal talent. Your struggles constantly bring you closer and closer to achieving your dream than you can ever imagine.

The main problem with the society is that we want everything in output but are not ready to give even fifty percent as input or for other reason; we make excuses as to why our idea will fail or why we won’t be successful if we pursue our passion. One of the reasons is the lack of family support because our mindset is to be “secure”, have a job, a wife and two children. You fear that if you failed, you won’t be able to face your family; you won’t have a place to live in, etc etc. Failure is not a step backward, it’s a step forward in every sense of the word because when you fail at something you’re good at, it shakes you up alarming you to upgrade yourself and because you love your work, you’d equally love putting in all the hard work that is needed for improvement.

If people don’t understand you, that doesn’t mean you’re on the wrong path. Let me tell you something, if you are following your passion you are ultimately doing the best for the ones you love. Following your dream is not selfish, because if you keep practicing, keep focusing, keep giving your hundred percent into what you know best.... Guess what? You’ll be reaching heights you never imagined you would and the happiest people on the planet would be your parents, your family because hey, “You” made them proud.

So, all you aspiring entrepreneurs, actors, authors, dancers, artists who are stuck in a job that makes you sick and you end up quarreling with almost everybody you come across; take that step, let your talents not be wasted, leave no stone unturned and when you die, die on the “E”: Leave no dream unachieved, no desire unaccomplished because ,

“YES! IF YOU CAN DREAM IT YOU CAN ACHIEVE IT”

  1. Thank you for this motivating blog. I am constantly thinking about launching organic food product business starting with one product and could not let it go. There are 2 main goals: one is health concerns and other is to break poverty cycle by providing good payment for organic food suppliers (farmers) so that they could become consumers of good products including foods and have quality education for their children so they can take needed action for better health and environment in India which in turns motivates other farmers to produce organic foods.

I do not how to start. My concerns are how to register for the business and how to navigate through documentations. I would appreciate any help.
